To show or hide content based on how a visitor has browsed your product catalog (for example, the price range or specific pages they viewed), you can create product-based targeting in Kameleoon using Triggers. Before proceeding, ensure you have correctly implemented product tracking as described in Get started. This page focuses on the Visiting Behaviours → Product Pages conditions of a trigger. To learn more about Triggers, see the Triggers documentation.

Overview

There are three main dimensions of product states you can use for targeting.

Price of the displayed product page

Kameleoon retrieves product data and price history for the displayed page and stores it in SessionStorage, so it can calculate price changes for targeting.
Includes or excludes product pages where the price is higher than, lower than, or equal to a set amount, or has increased or decreased over a period. You can base this comparison on:
  • A fixed price
  • The price of a specific product
  • The average price of a selected group of products

Number of visited product pages

Kameleoon retrieves visited product and category data for the displayed page and stores each product in SessionStorage.
Includes or excludes visitors based on:
  • The number of product pages they visited
  • The category of those products
  • Their price

Visited product pages

Includes or excludes visitors based on the specific product pages they have visited.
